Not All DJs are Professional

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The images below are not system setups by The Music Factory, but they could very well be what you'll get if you shop for DJs on nothing but the lowest price.

If you hire a DJ that doesn't show you a picture of his or her actual setup, or won't tell you who your DJ will be until after you've signed the contract, this may be what you might get.  If their setup looks bad, chances are, it will sound bad too.

Fortunately, most DJ companies aren't going to have system setups as bad as some of the ones pictured below, but they do exist, so be careful even if we aren't the type of DJ company you are looking for.

Is it worth hiring a DJ based on the lowest price to just to save $100 or $200 when everything else can cost $10,000-$20,000 for a wedding and reception?  Our prices are reasonable

Great speakers! but too
any wires under the table.

Too many wires showing.
Speakers a little small for
decent sound quality in a
large room

No speaker covers and
really a DJ system that is
simply a glorified home
stereo.

Not a bad beginner DJ system but it's probably a good idea not to hire a DJ that wants to sell you fireworks and glowsticks.

Bedroom Desktop DJ

Anyone got a Camel Filter?

Get a turntable if you love that scratching noise

A little on the foggy side?

Lot's of ways to play a song, turntables, CD players, and a computer. How about sticking with just a computer and a backup computer with all the same music?

Not a bad DJ setup, but wouldn't be nice to have a DJ that doesn't have 100+ cords plugged in for viewing.

The DJs are on Fire!!!  Literally.  OK, I'd admit it, this is kinda cool for a college party and it is something I can do with my fog machine, but for a wedding?  Not probably a good idea.

Nice hair for a wedding DJ?
